Trigg Downsizers

Modern backyard with a swimming pool, lounge chairs, a patio with outdoor furniture, desert landscaping with trees and shrubs, and a house with large windows and sliding doors.

Located in the coastal suburb of Trigg, this renovation project was designed to transform an outdated three-bedroom, two-bathroom home into a refined downsized residence tailored for relaxed beachside living. The brief was to create a functional and future-focused home for two retirees, balancing comfort, practicality, and timeless design.

The design approach focused on improving spatial flow, increasing natural light, and creating a low-maintenance environment suited to everyday living and entertaining.

Key priorities included modernising the kitchen and bathrooms, enhancing storage, and ensuring the home would support long-term lifestyle needs without compromising on style.

Careful material selection and considered layout changes helped create a cohesive interior that feels calm, open and connected to its coastal surroundings. The result is a thoughtfully reconfigured home that delivers both simplicity and sophistication, providing the clients with a comfortable and personalised forever home.
